12 Days of Holiday: Lumiere Midi Skirt

Think way, way back to Day 2 of my 12 Days of Holiday. Remember the star sweater? Well, now I am talking about my favorite new tulle skirt that is full of sequin stars! Day 4 is all about the Lumiere skirt from Anthropologie.

I know, I know. Every post I always say something along the lines of “this is my favorite new piece.” But this skirt really is one of my favorite new purchases! Tulle, sequins and stars? Yes, please! Let’s be real. Tulle skirts are seriously every girl’s best friend. I have been wearing them for years and I have yet to get sick of them. They are feminine and flattering. What more could you ask for?

I wanted to pair this skirt with something cozy on top. Hello, cropped and slightly over sized sweater! Originally, I had a blush tone in mind to go with this skirt. But then I saw this light blue sweater from Urban Outfitters. I think I may have screamed “eureka!” when I spotted it in their store. No one seemed to notice…

A funky shoe was a must for this outfit. I looked no further than my favorite studded Jeffrey Campbell booties. I’ll admit it…I am afraid to wear these booties too often. I am a clumsy person, so I worry that I will run into something or spill something on them. So it felt good to take them out of their box again!

Skirt: Lumiere Midi Skirt, Anthropologie $168

Sweater: Shop similar at Urban Outfitters $49

Booties: Jeffrey Campbell After Dark Boot, Free People $268

Ok, how cute is the letters for Santa mailbox? I found that outside of a post office in St. Louis. I won’t lie, I want to write a letter to Santa! But what would I ask for?

Have a great day!
